About Arogya Manthan 2.0
23rd September 2020 will mark the second anniversary of launch of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY). The scheme is empowering 500 million people to gain access to quality healthcare and is an important step by the Government of India in moving towards Universal Health Coverage (UHC). In this very short period, AB PM-JAY has achieved many landmarks including over 1.18 crore cashless treatments worth Rs 15,282 Cr and issuance of more than 12.5 crore e-cards to the beneficiaries. The biggest healthcare scheme of the world has also played a key role in response to pandemic by enabling free tests and treatments to AB PM-JAY beneficiaries.
To mark the occasion, NHA is organizing “Arogya Manthan 2.0”, a four-day virtual event from 22nd to 25th September 2020. The purpose of the Arogya Manthan 2.0 is to share the progress under the scheme till date and further stock-taking to inform the path ahead with experience sharing and learning from peers both within and outside the country.
