Description of the State Scheme
Chief Minister-gi Hakshelgi Tengbang (CMHT) is a health assurance scheme initiated by the Government of Manipur. The Scheme provides for cashless treatment to the poor at the Empaneled Network of Hospitals and covers up to Rs. 2 lacks per eligible family every year identified from the Socio Economic Caste Census (SECC). Under the scheme, bona fide citizens of Manipur who belongs to any of the category, that is AAY, Widow, Disabled are eligible to avail the scheme benefits. However, Bona fide citizen of Manipur who claim to be poor and needy but does not include in any of the above-mentioned category may apply for eligibility of the scheme for the DC verification process
